Update!

Kevin Turner: still a bad friend.

Edit: Okay, bad friend is harsh. How about this? Kevin Turner: once a bitch, always a bitch.

Okay.

+ Greg was a sport and took me shopping last weekend. I got lots of new stuff, and it's like...nice, real clothing (not t-shirts. holy shit.).
- I still can't figure out what to wear.
- That was last weekend and I'm not going to see my boy until next weekend. It could be worse, but I really miss him.

+ On Monday I'm turning in an insect collection. Right now I am in the midst of a caterpillar rearing project. That's right. I'm going to watch them eat, poop, molt, and grow, then make pupae and TURN INTO BUTTERFLIES. Yessss.
- The Oxford English Dictionary can suck it. I have write a shortish paper about the etymology and nuances of a particular word, using this evil thing as my reference. The problem is that there is a 3-mile long, unintelligible history and about 20 different "definitions," each with 2 or 3 "different" parts to it that are really just slightly altered wordings of THE SAME THING. There's just too much information and I can't sort it all out and pick out what I need without being afraid to leave something out.

+I am getting totally involved with both the university's editoral magazine (DEconstruction) and literary/art  magazine (Caesura).
- We got photography assignments for DEcon, but I haven't picked anything to do, much less gone and shot it.
- I wanted to learn layout for Caesura, but the moderator wants to send it to a Visual Communications class instead. Why can't I be an art major?

+Working at GrassRoots is actually borderline fun.
- This morning, not so much.

+Autumn, her roommate, and I were planning to go raspberry picking tomorrow.
- The bitch cancelled. Speaking of bad friends, Kevin Turner is pretty heinous. Details upon request.

+I have the room to myself at the moment.
- It is cold and I am frustrated.

Dude, my arm is peeling. I'm not burnt or anything and it's just that one spot. What's that about?

Also, UD needs to get on the stick. The new student information thing is still not up, and the dining hall/center pages still have schedules for summer session. Ughhhh.

Nothing else exciting to report.

My plant science professor passed out potatoes to everyone in class today. We had to give them back for an experiment of his, but on Wednesday, we are going to be planting potatoes of our own.

I love college.
